During the pandemic we where fortunant enough to find our slice of Heaven on top of Sugarloaf Moutnain in Hackett, Arkasnas. Our land was raw but worth the effort. It was paradise for me, but the wife and kids needed more than a tent to make the permanent move to the mountain. With many trips under our belt, we had the unique oportunity to be featured on the National TV show, " BUILDING OFF THE GRID " on the Magnollia network. It was not easy. Owning and operating a marketing company in Lousiana while building our future home on TV might sound fun, but I asure you, I have more hair lose and back pain now than ever. It took 6 months to build our small cabin off grid, with cameras at times a little to close for comfort. It was worth all the efort to see my son and daughter thrive here! Play sports and get involved. We moved here to give our kids what we had growing up. My wife from Natchez Mississippi and me just out side of Shreveport Lousiana. We think we found it here. Nature, Less TV, More Family, more friends,and more community. I love to be involved and help others when I can. You might have seen me around, cutting grass at the Sugarloaf boat launch or helping at the Sugarloaf fire station.
