Alves has worked in the hotel industry: The Plaza, The Delmonico, The Peninsula, and Sheraton Manhattan in various capacities; sales & marketing, assistant front desk manager, client services, and in retail for Saks Fifth Avenue. With 8 years plus experience in Real Estate, Alves worked for top-rated property management companies, providing top quality Real Estate services and consulting; international sales, long and short-term rentals, relocation, serving clients both nationwide and international.As a writer and producer, Alves produced the Brazilian segment of the JVC Jazz Festival and helped establish Brazilian music as a major force in the New York club and concert scene. He has made the leap into the literary scene with "Unbound", his first novel about the Inquisition in Portugal, and the screenplay ?Branca? based on the same novel. Alves speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
