Julia Maksimova oversees a team that specializes in landlord and tenant representation as well as investment sales in the New York City Metro area. She started her career as a research intern with Cushman & Wakefield in Moscow, Russia which transitioned into a full time Market Research position in New York's retail division. She became a retail leasing broker in 2009. She has worked with high profile landlords such as: Vornado, RFR, Tishman Speyer, Stellar Management, Columbia University, 601W Companies, Clinton Housing Development Company and several other; as well as many tenants, including local, national, international; private and public, Fortune100 and VC funded high growth startups and Unicorns: Aveda/Estee Lauder Companies, Tommy Hilfiger/PVH Corp, Elie Tahari, CVS Pharmacy, Lime Bike, Sonder, GoPuff, Scentbird, Fuku/Momofuku, Tartinery, Una Pizza Napoletana, Fox Group (Israel) and others.
Julia's perspective and extensive leadership experience make her a trusted advisor for clients, which has resulted in countless deals. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from Moscow State University, Russia. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Julia is currently in the process of attaining her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Julia is serving on the Executive Leadership Council (nationally - USA) as well as the Commercial Leadership Council (locally - Manhattan Region) for KW Commercial.
