The Whitehall Field Club is a multi-dimensional sporting facility offering links-style Golf, Skeet and Trap shooting, Boating, Fishing and so much more. Nestled among the base of the serene Adirondack landscape, the Field Club consists of 67 acres of verdant landscapes and three-quarters a mile of river frontage. The Field Club is accessible by boat (from Lake Champlain), the canal, and the Hudson River. Extremely secluded and serene with dramatic western sunset views, our grounds serve as the perfect place to host a golf outing, tournament, or private event. The Clubhouse Styled after the clubhouse at Augusta National, the plantation style building features modern furniture, a private bar, beautiful fireplace and upper deck with views of the golf course, mountains and the Mettawee River. The Field Club House is just 1.5 miles from the Whitehall Athletic Club offering members modern amenities after a game of Golf, Boating and Fishing, Skeet and Trap Shooting or Winter Activity such as Snowshoeing or Cross-Country Skiiing. The Golf Course Our unique links-style Golf Course was styled after the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. It features several double greens and a principal's nose fairway sandtrap in addition to 18 pot-shaped greenside bunkers. The links' routing takes guests down the Mettawee River towards the Champlain Canal. Measuring 2063 yards in length and consisting of three par 4s, two par 3s, and a 550-yard finishing hole, the greens are heavily undulated and each hole has multiple level tee boxes. We are fully equipped with golf carts, pull carts, and a new driving range. Skeet & Trap Shooting Indulge in the unique sport of Skeet & Trap shooing using our club guns or your own. Featuring 6 custom built towers, our Skeet & Trap course offers clay pigeon launchers set in various different height towers positioned across the beautiful natural landscape of the Adirondack region. Sculling & Fishing / Area Wildlife Escape to the beautiful Mettawee River with activities such as sculling or fishing. The Club offers boats or space to keep privately owned boats as well as fishing equipment for member use. Fish such as Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Small Mouth Bass are just some of the fish that can be found here. Winter Activities Our grounds at the Whitehall Field Club offer the perfect setting for your favorite winter activity such as SnowShoeing, Cross Country Skiing or Ice Skating.
