A true South Florida native, Melissa was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. She received a degree from F.S.U. and then returned home working successfully in both pharmaceutical and legal technology sales. She is married to local business owner Gunnar Askeland and together they have 2 sons, residing in Tequesta. Their family business, Jupiter Inlet Car Wash, has also been a staple in the Jupiter/Tequesta area for a decade. Her strong love of God, family, friends, and community continue to grow and energize every aspect of her life. She continues to be encouraged as friends become clients and clients become friends in this wonderful community we call home.
