Bob is a highly accomplished real estate professional and dedicated community leader with a distinguished background in military service. After proudly serving more than 21 years in the United States Coast Guard and attaining the distinguished rank of Master Chief Petty Officer.
Bob entered real estate in 1995 and became a licensed Broker in 2002. Today, he is the Managing Broker of Mann & Sons, Inc., a respected family-owned firm operating in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware since 1984. Throughout his career, Bob has earned multiple industry designations including EPro, Military Relocation Professional, and Real Estate Negotiations Expert, reflecting his deep commitment to excellence and service. His leadership has been recognized through his roles as President of both the Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAOR) and the Delaware Association of Realtors (DAR), and as a Director for the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Bob’s exceptional contributions have garnered numerous honors, including SCAOR Realtor of the Year in 2014 and 2017, DAR Realtor of the Year in 2017, two SCAOR President’s Awards, the Good Neighbor Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Outside of real estate,
Bob has devoted over 36 years as a volunteer umpire for Little League Delaware District 3, including the last two decades as Umpire in Charge. He also serves as Umpire in Charge for the Senior Softball World Series held annually in Sussex County and previously contributed as a board member for Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.
Bob’s expertise extends to property management, overseeing more than 200 rental properties in the region, and he holds certifications as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS). With his remarkable blend of leadership, service, and professionalism, Bob continues to make a lasting impact across his industry and community.
