Rafael Barbosa

Rafael grew up in the East Village of Manhattan and is a lifelong New York City resident. After attending SUNY Farmingdale, he embarked on a varied service-related career path that included marketing, event promotions, management, mortgages and real estate investing. In 2014, Rafael joined Urban Compass. As a loan officer and real estate investor previously, he gained valuable experience on the ins and outs of the market. His seasoned insight and broad knowledge allow him to expertly guide clients to the right home and investment based on their lifestyle needs and each property's unique value proposition. Fluent in Spanish and English, Rafael provides honest hands-on service in both languages. He is extremely hard working, but does find time to enjoy diverse interests including sports, running, paintball, museums and travel. Rafael also runs the Child ID program, and is an animal lover who's involved in PAWS. Most importantly, he is father to two wonderful daughters, who are his first priority.
