She also holds a BA in Management from Deree, the American College of Athens and a BA in English Literature from the Athens School of Philosophy. She is fluent in English, Greek and French.

Prior to moving to New York, Irene co-founded the Sarri Institutes of Foreign Languages in Athens, Greece where she served as the CEO for thirteen years managing the operations of three Foreign Language institutes with over 300 students.
