The words creative, tenacious, and resilient come to mind when describing Cathy Moore, a true partner and advocate for her real estate clients. Cathy has a never-ending interest in people that has manifested itself in a field she truly loves.
This native New Yorker initially spent years as an advertising copywriter at top agencies like J. Walter Thompson, N.W Ayer, and Ogilvy Direct. Listening to a client?s ideas and goals and learning everything about a product afforded her solid experience in planning, then delivering, the desired results. Two decades later, she dramatically changed her career course and became a teacher with the New York City Department of Education in Harlem and Washington Heights. Teaching at one of the city?s toughest schools and working with at-risk students further honed her innate ability to adapt, prepare, and rise to the occasion of helping others no matter what the challenge.
In 2002, Cathy obtained her real estate license with a great interest in the field. She worked part-time at brokerage firms in Hampton Bays and Manhattan, but eventually, sought the best training in the business, and joined Keller Williams. Cathy is very committed to her clients? needs and is willing to go the distance to help them find a home that fits their lifestyle. Her attentiveness, optimism, and hard work ethic make her an effective and memorable partner in one of life?s most important decisions.
Cathy is a graduate of Fordham University, Rose Hill, with a BA in Journalism, and of Iona College in New Rochelle with a Master?s Degree in Urban Education. She resides on City Island in a condo she owns. Prior to moving back to the city, Cathy resided in East Quogue, New York. She is a member of the Princeton Club of New York and enjoys activities there.
