Since they settled in America around 250 years ago, every generation of my family has owned land and raised livestock. The past five generations have lived in Southeast Oklahoma. It is this heritage that makes us want to own our own land and steward it. When I was young, my parents saved every penny they had to buy a ranch outside of McAlester. They made sure that my brothers and I were raised with the same values and traditions of all those generations of farmers and ranchers before us. Its these traditions that inspire us to work hard to build something worth passing on to our next generation.
