About Jamila A Swift

When planning your next move, consider working with Jamella Swift of Keller Williams NYC. She would love to assist you with the process of finding the home of your dreams or selling the home that you currently reside in. As one of Keller Williams NYC?s top-producing Associate Brokers, Jamila is a hybrid agent - meaning that she sells and rents luxury townhouses and apartments in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. She will listen to you closely, market your property with maximum exposure and then sell your home for top dollar, in an effortless and expeditious manner. Her intention is to have it sold within 30-45 days, while always staying in constant communication with you. Jamila is also a Keller Williams Global Property Specialist. Before joining Keller Williams NYC, Jamila worked as an Associate Broker for eight years at Citi Habitats. Prior to becoming a real estate agent she worked as a graphic designer and art director in the music industry, creating marketing materials for Universal and Motown Records. In addition to that, she worked as an artist for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, MO. and wardrobe dresser with the Theatrical Wardrobe Union, dressing the casts for such Broadway shows as 42nd Street, Cabaret, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and The Metropolitan Opera House.

Jamila holds a BFA from Syracuse University in textile and fashion design and has also pursued studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in Manhattan.

In Jamila's spare time, she serves as a member of Bedford Stuyvesant?s Community Board 3. She is the founder, former vice-president and was a mentor of Karama, a mentoring group for teenage girls, in East New York, Brooklyn. In addition to that, Jamella is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. One of her personal goals is to bring tech organizations to schools in Brooklyn, to teach kids how to code. Her passion for serving the community equals her passion for assisting her clients with renting, purchasing or selling their home.
